Avitech participates in IPE 2008

Avitech's management team attended the International Poultry Expo held at Atlanta, Georgia, US on 23-25 January 2008.

 

R. Kapur, managing director, S. Malhotra, chief executive and Harish Dharne, manager of Technical Services & Business Promotion participated in the exposition.

 

The International Poultry Expo and the International Feed Expo is the world's largest trade show for the poultry industry.

 

Avitech's team attended the tradeshow with an objective to familiarize itself with the latest developments and technologies in the international markets.

 

Avitech also explored the potential of Indian products in the American subcontinent. The company believes that Indian competence and its traditional knowledge systems such as Ayurveda can open the doors of the world's most progressive livestock industry.

 

Under the leadership of Baldey Singh, Avitech's manager of international sales, the company's foray in overseas markets is gaining momentum. The company's products have managed to carve out a reputation in Indian market, and have also created a niche in international markets. Avitech products are exported to Nigeria, Kenya, Uganda, China and registration processes are being carried out in many countries in Africa, Southeast Asia and the Middle East.

 

The event was co-located with the International Feed Expo for the second year in a row and featured more than 894 exhibitors, educational programs and keynote speakers include the US Department of Commerce secretary Carlos M. Gutierrez.
