Thailand's CP Foods Cuts 2004 Sales Growth Forecast

Thailand's largest chicken exporter, Charoen Pokphand Foods PCL, said on Friday it has cut its 2004 sales growth forecast to just five percent from previous estimate of 20 percent

The revision followed the sale of a subsidiary in the United States and took account of the impact of the bird flu epidemic, chief executive Adirek Sripatak said.
