In January-February 2010, prices for agricultural products increased by 16.7% compared to the same period last year in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea (Ukraine).

According to the department of statistics, selling volumes of plant growing products decreased 33%. At the same time, the growth of prices for plant growing products totalled 40.4%.

In January 2010, in Crimea, the general selling volumes of agricultural commodities by agricultural enterprises increased by 8% compared to January 2009. In the January-February period of 2010, selling volumes of agricultural products on markets of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea lowered by 0.2% and at the same time, prices grew by 15.7%.
