French animal nutrition specialist EVIALIS introduced its NEOVIA range of high-performance animal nutrition additives at VIV ASIA 2009.

The five products in the NEOVIA range are:

• T5X, which binds mycotoxins and stimulates natural detoxification;
   
• B-Safe, which boosts the gastro-intestinal defence mechanisms;
   
• Stimune, which promotes the transfer of immunity in piglets;
   
• Oilis, which strengthens the intestinal walls and helps to control the risk of coccidiosis;
   
• Cap'Acid, which safeguards digestion via controlled diffusion of these protected acids.

Already sold for few months on the Asian market, more than 400 breeders use B-Safe or T5X in Malaysia, Philippines, Taiwan and Thailand.

T5X acts at four complementary stages to help the animal combat mycotoxins: it binds mycotoxins by virtue of specific components, stimulates natural detoxification in the liver, prevents oxidative stress in cells and boosts the immune response.

T5X offers an all-round solution for combating a wide range of mycotoxins - not only polar mycotoxins such as aflatoxins, but also less polar groups such as ZEA and DON.

B-Safe, which is based on an innovative and patented mode of action, helps to maintain the digestive balance in monogastric animals. It is comprised of plant extracts and specific clays, and limits the development of pathogenic gastro intestinal flora whilst protecting the intestinal mucosa at the same time. B-Safe enhances the zootechnical performance results of animals and boosts breeding profitability, especially under difficult hygiene conditions.

The NEOVIA additives use natural components and have been granted ISO 9001 (version 2000) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) certification.
