China's fishmeal imports in January decreased 22.55 percent to 39,196.17 tonnes as compared to December 2008, but increased 138.4 percent on-month to 93,456.87 in February.
Chile (18,411.05 tonnes), Peru (10,813.57 tonnes) and Russia (3,961.05 tonnes) were the main exporters of fishmeal to China during January.
For February, Peru (52,668.92 tonnes), Chile (33,015.75 tonnes) and New Zealand (1,540.04 tonnes) were the main exporters of fishmeal to China.
