China soy export value rise by 27 percent in 2007, stoking optimism in industry

 

 

China's enterprises with annual soy consumption above 3,000 tonnes exceeded 50 in 2007, surging by 30 percent, the Soybean Products Committee of the China National Food Industry Association reported.

 

Last year, the soy export value strengthened by 27 percent to US$28 million.

 

With these data, experts anticipate that the development of China's soy industry is accelerating, with the output growing rapidly, the product types multiplying and the quality improving.

 

Analysts are optimistic that the country's soy sector will enter a prosperous stage in the near term.
