China develops high-efficiency fish vaccines

China announced the development of six types of highly efficient vaccines to combat fish-pathogenic bacteria.

The country also developed production techniques for three types of fish vaccines and conducted safety assessment on four types of vaccines which were approved as safe and stable products, Chinese authorities said.

China's Ministry of Agriculture also approved two types of recombinant vaccines, which are expected to treat fish diseases, to enter the safety assessment stage.
