Sumitomo Chemicals increases methionine price

Sumitomo Chemical Co Ltd Tokyo, Japan announces today that the price of DL-Methionine 99% feed grade will increase by 5% in China due to high costs of raw materials, energy and transportation.
In line with the above increase, price of Methionine Hydroxy Analog 88% feed grade will also be adjusted by 5% accordingly.
The price revisions are effective with immediate effect. However, all prior agreements and commitments will be honoured.
