China lysine exports down in February

 

 

China's lysine exports in February totalled 13,530 tonnes, down 29 percent from January, and 1.26 times that of the quantity exported during the same period last year.

                             
For the month of February 2007, China's lysine exports were worth about US$12.568 million.


Shipments to Western and Eastern Europe dropped by over 2,000 tonnes and 1,000 tonnes respectively from last month. Exports to South-east Asia were down by more than 1,000 tonnes.
