Poland to ban GM corn

Poland could become the second European country to ban genetically modified maize, or corn, following Hungary's ban of Monsanto's MON 810 hybrid seeds earlier this year

Poland planned to stop importing and planting 17 varieties of Monsanto's genetically modified corn seed for two years, according to an official from the country's Farm Ministry.
