Taiwan MFIG seeks 56,000 million tonnes corn in tender Tuesday

Taiwan's Members Feed Industry Group will seek 56,000 tonnes of either US or Argentine yellow corn in a buy tender to be held at 0700 GMT Tuesday, a Taipei-based trader said.

MFIG will buy one cargo of corn to be shipped either April 28-May 12 from the US Gulf or Argentina, or May 13-27 from the Pacific Northwest, the trader said.

Suppliers have the option to provide corn cargoes with 5 percent more or less of the tendered quantity.
