Substantial rise in China vitamin A prices
Prices rose significantly the past few weeks.
Short supply drove up prices of vitamin A during the period in review. Several producers halted price releases with limited stocks to offer.
One major producer quoted higher at RMB160/kg for vitamin A products.
Vitamin A market is set to stay strong on the back of limited availability.
