Lacklustre export demand weakens China vitamin E market

Over the past few weeks, prices dropped further.

Export demand for vitamin E was weak as Europe’s vitamin E market stayed soft. As supply remained ample, producers lowered prices in a bid to clear inventories.

Price quotes of vitamin E were in the range of RMB78-90/kg.

Vitamin A prices will likely consolidate within the current range in the coming weeks, as overseas demand pick up while renminbi depreciates.
