China pork prices climb on recent week
The average retail price of lean pork in 36 medium and large Chinese cities rose by 0.34 percent on-week to RMB14.61 per 500grammes.
The recent surge covers March 10 to March 14, according to the latest information released by the National Development and Reform Commission.
Meanwhile, China's average retail prices for beef and mutton per 500g rose by 0.36 percent to RMB16.55 and 0.06 percent to RMB17.43 respectively, against the previous week.
Chicken and eggs prices per 500g were at RMB7.72 and RMB3.41 respectively, unchanged from last week.
