Argentina 07-08 soy output seen at 47million tonnes

Argentina will produce 47 million tonnes of soy and 20.5 million tonnes of corn from the 2007-08 crops, the agriculture secretariat said Wednesday.

Argentina's secretariat had previously forecast 45 million to 48 million tonnes of soy and 19 million to 21 million tonnes of corn.

The forecast for 2007-08 sunseed production was also raised to 4.6 million tonnes against 4.5 million tonnes forecast last month.
