Philippine hog weekly: Farmgate hog prices improve despite off-peak season (week ended Mar 12, 2012)
The Department of Agriculture has issued two separate administrative orders (AO) that would govern the handling of frozen meat products and newly-slaughtered meat in markets nationwide. Agriculture Secretary Proceso Alcala said he has officially approved AO No. 5 and AO No.6 guidelines respectively.
