TSC launches boot swab to monitor salmonella in poultry
Technical Service Consultants Ltd (TSC), in UK, has launched a boot swab which will be used to monitoring salmonella in poultry flocks.
The Sterile Boot Swabs consists of 4 different kits in which Kits 1 and 2 are comprised of both 2 pairs and 5 pairs of blue boot swabs or mob caps, respectively, together with sterile disposable gloves and mini grip bag.
Kits 3 and 4 consist of 2 outer Sterile Medical grade bags, in which one of the bags consist of boot swabs and mini grip bag like in kits 1 and 2, while in the other bag contains a pair of plastic sterile overboots, 2 mini grip bags and a pair of disposable gloves.
The boot swabs are dosed with maximum recovery diluents (MRD).
TSC has been manufacturing laboratory and microbiological consumables for over 30 years.
