Denmark's NutriScan boosts calcium bolus production

Danish nutritional supplement specialist, NutriScan, has opened new manufacturing facilities for an increased production of it's patented calcium bolus for preventing milk fever in dairy cows.

The new bolus production facilities will enable NutriScan to meet the growing demand for its non-irritating, rapid dissolving, CaliBol bolus in Denmark, supplying 40 grammes of highly bioavailable calcium, which has been approved by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

The new facilities are operation in accordance with HACCP and GMP+ quality security scheme.

NutriScan develops and markets feed additives and nutritional supplements for modern husbandry. The nutritional supplements are mainly intended for young animals and animals in stress periods.

The company has been cooperating with a large number of feedstuff producers and other commercial agricultural enterprises.
