Ukraine bans poultry imports from Romania

Ukraine has banned imports of poultry and related foodstuffs from Romania due to an outbreak of bird flu there, according to the Ukrainian State Committee for Veterinary Medicine.

Romania confirmed the outbreak of the H5N1 strain of bird flu on 16 March.
