Aviagen Anadolu holds first Customer Academy in Turkey
The Aviagen® Anadolu team held its first Customer Academy in Adana, Turkey on February 5-6.
Over 90 participants attended the two-day event focused on breeder and broiler management topics. The event served as a dynamic platform for industry insights and management best practices, providing attendees with valuable, practical knowledge.
Throughout the event, the participants were provided with information on a number of important topics including performance trends in Turkey, biosecurity, chick quality and brooding practices, grading, ventilation, hatching egg management, and lighting programmes.
The academy was designed to provide producers with the knowledge to optimise their breeder and broiler performance, while also sparking insight discussions among the group.
Fatih Gursoy, broiler production manager (Adana Region, Senpilic), said: "The meeting brought together regional industry representatives, and emphasised that genetics alone is not enough for maximum performance; management practices are also of great importance.''
Serif Isci, breeder manager of Abalioglu, said: "The seminar considered the important points with regards to broiler and breeder management and best practices in the field. I would like to thank the Aviagen Anadolu Technical team for their organisation and we look forward to future seminars.''
