Ukraine exports 17 million tonnes grain to date
Ukraine exported 17 million tonnes of grain since the beginning of the current marketing year July 1 to date and is on course to export 25 million tonnes in the current marketing year, which will end June 30, the agriculture ministry said Monday (March 16).
The ministry said the grain exported to date included 8.7 million tonnes of wheat, 5.4 million tonnes of barley and 2.8 million tonnes of corn.
The ministry also said the export of oilseeds to date totalled 3.1 million tonnes, including 2.5 million tonnes of rape, 360,000 tonnes of sunflower seeds and 210,000 tonnes of soy.
