Vietnam's quota limits on imported corn and raw milk to be removed
Vietnam will lift its quota restrictions on imported corn, cotton and raw milk as of April 1 this year, the government announced this week.
The removal is a positive move towards the country's accession to the World Trade Organization
Since 2003, Vietnam has imposed quota limits on seven imported products, including raw milk, poultry eggs, tobacco, salt and cotton.
Bilateral negotiations with important trade partners like the US and New Zealand resulted in milk and cotton being of special interest to those countries.
