Japan Bans Dutch Poultry Imports On Bird Flu
 

Japan has banned poultry imports from the Netherlands due to suspected bird flu outbreaks there, the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries said Wednesday.

In 2002, Japan did not import poultry meath from the Netherlands but imported about 430,000 chicks, ministry officials said.
