Ukraine's February grain exports show increase
Ukraine's grain exports increased more than twofold in February as compared to a month earlier, UkrAgroConsult said.
Export grain shipments hit 739,400 tonnes in February from 366,100 tonnes in January.
Corn made up 483,500 tonnes and was shipped mostly to Spain, Iran and Egypt. Wheat shipments in February reached 193,900 tonnes and the crop went to Turkey, Georgia and Israel. Barley exports hit 52,100 tonnes last month compared with 6,800 tonnes in January, UkrAgroConcult said.
