Russia's January poultry import up 28.3 percent on-year at 67,100 tonnes

Russia imported 67,100 tonnes of poultry in January, an increase of 28.3 percent compared with January 2006, the federal customs service reported Wednesday (Mar 14).

The imported poultry was worth US$50.7 million compared with US$32.3 million in January 2006.
