Vietnam set to mass-vaccinate poultry farms against bird flu
 

Vietnamese animal health authorities will commence mass inoculation of poultry against bird flu next week.

Over 130 million doses of vaccine would be imported from China and other sources by March 23, the officials from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development's Veterinary Department said.

Tough measures had been put in place to swiftly eradicate foot-and-mouth disease, another deadly epidemic that has ravaged 13 cities and provinces, they said.
