Taiwan's BSPA buys 60,000 tonnes Brazilian soybean
Taiwan's Breakfast Soybean Procurement Association (BSPA) has bought 60,000 tonnes of Brazil-origin soybeans from trading house Marubeni in a tender concluded Tuesday, an official at the association said.
Marubeni will supply 40,000 tonnes of soybeans at 99 cents a bushel above the Chicago Board of Trade July contract, while the remaining 20,000 tonnes will be supplied at US$252/tonne, on a cost-and-freight basis.
The shipment is expected to arrive in Taiwan April 18-May 2.
