China Live Hog Weekly: Prices rebound earlier than expected (week ended Mar 10, 2016)
Pork demand improved, driving up the slaughter volumes of hog. In major wholesale centres, pork carcass volumes increased 2.43% to 7,806 tonnes even though prices slid marginally by 0.34% to RMB23.44/kg. Hog prices increased 1.2%, averaging RMB18.67/kg.
