Improved demand supports rise in China vitamin A prices

Prices were marginally higher over the past few weeks.

As demand picked up slowly, several vitamin A producers lifted prices amid low inventory pressure.

Price quotes of locally produced vitamin A were at RMB107-111/kg.

Prices of vitamin A are expected to stay stable as producers are making paltry profits. In the longer term, prices should rise from current record-low levels.
