Ukraine pork prices down in February
 

 

Prices of Ukraine pork on the markets of 22 regions fell by 0.4-10.6 percent in February as against last month, compared to January, to UAH 17.87-27.21 per kilogramme, according to the Ukraine Ministry of Economy.

 

In three regions pork prices remained at the level of UAH 20.00-20.28 per kilogramme.

 

At the same time, pork prices in two regions rose by 0.6-1.1 percent to UAH 20.00-20.40 per kilogramme.

 

According to the ministry, the highest price for pork in February was recorded on the markets of Kyiv at UAH 27.21 per kilogramme.

 

The lowest price for pork meat was registered on the markets of Volyn region at UAH 17.87 per kilogram.

 

The ministry also reported in February, prices for lard on the markets of 25 regions fell by 0.7 to 15.9 percent, compared to January, to UAH 6.60 to 11.30 per kilogramme.

 

Prices for lard in two regions remained at the level UAH 8.00 to 11.04 per kilogramme.

 

The lowest prices for lard were registered on the markets of the Chernivtsi region at UAH 6.60 per kilogramme, and the highest prices were registered in Dnipropetrovsk region at UAH 11.30 per kilogramme.
