Argentina to Boost Venezuelan Soy Crops
Soy specialists from Argentina will supervise 247,100 acres of soy in Anzoategui, Venezuela, to be extended to 2.4 million acres within four years.
The signed agreement focuses on technical support from an Argentinean farming consortium, with backing from Petroleos de Venezuela Agriculture Division (PDV-Agricola).
The accord also covers the upcoming opening of two plants to produce soy soft drinks and cooking oil.
