Somsak Paneetatyasai, president of the Thai shrimp association, said during the annual seminar of the Thai Chamber Association last Friday (March 7, 2014) that last year's final shrimp production figure was officially at 250,000 tonnes, down from 540,000 tonnes in 2012, a decrease of 54%.
