Philippines lifts ban on UK meat products
The Philippines has lifted a ban on meat imports from the UK, according to the Department of Agriculture on Thursday.
The decision to lift the ban follows the restoration of UK's status as an "FMD-free country without vaccination" last month, the department said.
The department had imposed the ban in August last year following an outbreak of foot-and-mouth disease in Surrey, England.
