Debruce to build grain storage facility in Mississippi

Debruce Grain Inc. announced on March 10 its plans to build storage space for 800,000 bushels of grain adjacent to its existing facility in Rosedale, Mississippi.

The project includes an ability to unload trucks to storage space at high speed and to go to both storage space and barge at the same time, allowing throughput of as much as 70,000 bushels per hour.

Paul DeBruce, chief executive officer of Debruce, said the construction of the new facility would complement the company's current facilities in Rosedale, as it gives more storage space to better meet customer demand.

Construction is expected to begin in early April and be completed by the end of July. The Mississippi expansion is Phase 2 of a scheduled multi-phase expansion.
