USDA Sells 123,832 MT Soymeal To Canada

The U.S. Department of Agriculture announced Thursday private export sales of 123,832 metric tons of U.S. soymeal for delivery to Canada in the 2004-05 marketing year.
 
The soymeal marketing year begins Oct. 1.
 
U.S. exporters are required to report to the USDA sales of 100,000 tons or more of soymeal made in the same day to the same destination by 1500 ET (2000 GMT) the next business day, according to the USDA's Foreign Agriculture Service. Any export sales under 100,000 tons must be reported on a weekly basis.
