Vietnamese firm imports 50 more US pig breeds

The CP Green-Feed Vietnam has imported 50 pig breeds variety PIC from the US, increasing the total number of super-quality breed pigs to 100 for reproduction in the Southeast Asian country.

The PIC pigs are from four high-quality strains GF337, GF399, GF280 and GF408 with fast growth, good immunity and high rate of lean meat, reported local news.

The company will support farmers wanting to breed and raise PIC pig race, Tran Van Hiep, deputy director of Cam My branch was quoted as saying.
