EU approves lower inclusion rate for probiotic Calsporin

The EU has approved a lower inclusion rate for the probiotic Calsporin, which was already registered for 100ppm and can now be used at 50ppm.

It has been shown that the lower inclusion rate is as effective as when 100ppm is used.

Calsporin is a highly concentrated probiotic that contains viable spores of Bacillus subtilis C-3102 and produced by Orrfa.

This probiotic is heat stable and approved for use in broiler chicken. It is available in EU, the US, Brazil, China and other Asian countries.
