Japan Government To Subsidize Anti Bird Flu Chicken Coops
Japanese authorities have announced that they will provide subsidies to poultry farmers to help cover the expenses for building windowless chicken houses in a bid to prevent bird flu from spreading, its officials said Thursday.
The move by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries came after bird flu virus was detected in crows in Kyoto and Osaka prefectures.
