Land O'Lakes names new Advisory Board Member
US food and agricultural cooperative, Land O'Lakes, Inc., has announced the appointment of Galen Vetter as an advisory member to its Board of Directors.
Vetter was formerly worldwide Chief Financial Officer of funds at Franklin Templeton Investments, a global investment management organisation headquartered in San Mateo, California.
Prior to joining Franklin Templeton Investments, Vetter served as Partner In-Charge of the Upper Midwest Region for RSM McGladrey, Inc. and McGladrey & Pullen, LLC. In addition to extensive financial experience, Vetter brings enterprise risk management and international business experience to Land O'Lakes.
Vetter is originally from a farm in Iowa and received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Northern Iowa. He is a certified public accountant.
Land O'Lakes bylaws allow up to three advisory, non-voting members to be appointed by the board to one-year terms, typically to bring special expertise and outside perspective.
