Indonesian toddler dies of bird flu
 

An Indonesian toddler died of bird flu, raising the country's death toll from the virus to 21, a senior health official said Friday, citing test results from a World Health Organization-sanctioned laboratory.

The three-year-old boy died on Feb 28 in a hospital in Semarang, Central Java province, apparently after coming into contact with sick chickens.

Further tests, however, were being carried out to determine the source of infection.
