Taiwan's BSPA buys 60,000 tonnes US soybeans from Cargill

The Kaohsiung branch of Taiwan's Breakfast Soybeans Procurement Association bought 60,000 tonnes of US No. 2 yellow soybeans from trading house Cargill in a tender concluded Wednesday, said a Taipei-based trader.

BSPA Kaohsiung bought one cargo of soybeans at 200.02 US cents per bushel over the Chicago Board of Trade July contract, the trader said.

The price is after cost and freight. The cargo is to be shipped April 13-27 from the Pacific Northwest to the port of Kaohsiung, the trader said.
