Corn prices mostly stable in China; price weakness seen in Yellow/Huai River regions (Mar 10, 2005)

Corn prices in China were generally stable early this week, with prices in the Yellow / Huai River production regions showing signs of weakening.
In the north-eastern production regions, prices of corn were mostly stable, with Heilongjiang province registering a marginal price increase in recent days.
Price stability was seen in most parts of the southern consumption regions, but corn prices in some areas dipped slightly due to the increased arrival of stocks lately.
