China's lysine imports rise in January
 

 

China imported 718.5 tonnes of lysine in January, 2011, a sharp 160% increase from December last year, though the overall shipments remained at historically low levels.

            

January's lysine imports were worth US$1.42 million, with the average import price at US$1.98/kg, which was lower than US$2.51/kg in the previous month.
