China's methionine imports rise in January
China's methionine imports registered 10,236 tonnes in January, 2011, up 2.73% from December last year.
Average import price in January was US$4.38/kg, lower by US$0.02/kg compared with the previous month.
Belgium (4,820 tonnes), Japan (3,781 tonnes) and France (935 tonnes) were the three largest exporters of methionine to China during January.
