Cargill appoints key aquaculture person

Cargill Animal Nutrition has named Ryan Lane, technology deployment manager, for its aquaculture group.

Lane's responsibilities include innovation and deployment of new and existing technologies to support and further develop the unit's global aqua-feed business.

Lane joined Cargill in June 2006 after serving as a research assistant professor at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, where he was instrumental in the development of lipid biochemistry research.
