Taiwan Sugar Corp buys US corn, soybean in tender
The Taiwan Sugar Corp. has bought US corn and soybean from trading house Agrex in a tender concluded late Thursday, a trader in Taipei said Friday.
Agrex will supply 29,000 tonnes corn at US$242.2/tonne, while it will sell 16,000 tonnes soybean at a premium of 175.90 US cents/bushel to the Chicago Board of Trade May contract.
Both the shipments are expected to arrive between Apr 1-15 if shipped from the US Gulf, or Apr 16-30 if shipped from Pacific North-west.
