Choline chloride market stable in China

Prices were stable during the period in review.

Trade improved towards late February even though overall transaction volume remained relatively low. Choline chloride producers were, however, reluctant to negotiate prices as the costs of raw ingredients showed no signs of reducing.

Ex-factory prices of 50-percent content choline chloride in Shandong stayed unchanged at RMB5,700-5,800/tonne.

Feed millers are expected to increase choline chloride stocks in preparation for the aquaculture recovery. Prices will stay firm with demand on the rise and output costs staying high.
