Several poultry complexes worth KZT16 billion (US$108 million) will be built by Israeli company M.A.D. Corporation in the Northern Kazakhstan, North Kazakhstan region's head Serik Bilyalov said at the meeting with Israeli company head Abraham Payurski, Novosti-Kazakhstan reported.

At the meeting the Israeli company presented an innovative project on premix plant construction and broiler industry development. Kazakh interested companies took part in the meeting.

Bilyalov said that the project on poultry complex construction will be implemented in three phases and will be completed in four years.

The Israeli company's representative in the Northern Kazakhstan - Kyzylzhar Kus Company Director Sagyndyk Begalin said that the project is very relevant due to the market demand for poultry products. For example, annual demand for chickens in Kazakhstan hit 200,000 tonnes, including 100,000 tonnes of imported chicken.
