US cuts anti-dumping taxes on Vietnam's frozen shrimp
The taxes applied to all Vietnamese frozen shrimp exporters for the 2008-2009 period have been reduced from those announced by the US Department of Commerce (DOC) at the end of September 2009.
These were the final results of the US review of anti-dumping taxes on Vietnamese frozen shrimp from February 1, 2009-March 31, 2010. Accordingly, three exporters enjoyed a low tax rate of 0-1.67%, and 29 others had their tariffs reduced from 3.92% to 1.52%.
The average tax for the remaining exporters is still very high at 25.76%.
