China lysine market under pressure amid slack demand, ample supply
Lysine prices stayed flat during the week ending March 5.
Several lysine producers withheld price releases while others halted or reduced production as trade was light.
For imported 98.5-percent lysine, transacted prices were mainly in the range of RMB9.80-10.10/kg.
With supply abundant and demand weak, lysine prices are likely to fall further in the coming period.
RMB1=US$0.1636 (Mar 7)
